Grateful Dead Quilt
Collections of t-shirts can truly be a look back at your life. I met a couple from Long Island who told me they had such a collection. They had attended many of the Grateful Dead concerts and had saved the original commemorative shirts. They had also traveled extensively to exotic places like Kenya, and even worked for Enron—a major news maker a couple of years back. Their “story” was told in the quilt I designed that was to cover a wall in their new home. I got a letter after they received their quilt telling me what a great time they had looking at all of their treasures displayed in one place and reminiscing about the "good old days".
